Pastor Placement: Churches

When there is a pastoral vacancy in your church, contact the Converge Southwest office and you will begin a process of recommended steps that will be guided by Executive Minister, Bruce Sumner.  These steps will include the use of the Ministry Placement Network and Ministry Match.

The MPN includes a "Church Profile," an instrument specially designed to assist the church in assessing its needs in categories similar to those used in the material completed by pastoral candidates. It lists the church's needs in terms of:
• ministry gifts
• ministry values
• temperament
• motivation
• leadership style
• participation style
• ministry experience
• doctrinal position
• ministry philosophy

The cost for churches depends on the size of the congregation.  Fees are based on average worship attendance from preschoolers through adults:

 76 to 150 . . . . . . . .  $295
 151 plus . . . . . . . . .  $395
