Quiet WatersWe are pleased to announce that CWW/CSW has joined with Quiet Waters Ministries to bring you the CareLine, a telephone consulting and counseling resource for you and your family.
CareLine is a professional and confidential consulting resource for CWW pastors and home assignment missionaries. Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, their answering service puts you in contact with one of Quiet Waters licensed, doctor or master level counselors to talk about a personal or congregational issue.
You simply call this toll-free number, 1-866-526-2222 and within a short time you will receive a call from one of the Quiet Waters counselors.
You will be provided up to three (3) hours of assessment and consultation via the telephone per isolated incident per year. These sessions are used to access the nature of the problem facing you as an individual or your family, to provide consultation for the problem and if necessary, to arrange for referral to the appropriate resource. Here is why some have used this resource:
- “A counseling situation I needed advice for”
- “Depression, marital problems”
- “Info about potential for violence in a bi-polar person”
- “Concern with an adult daughter”
- “A family member depressed and talking about ‘life not worth living’”
- “Congregant possibly suicidal”
Confidentiality is critical to the effectiveness of this service. All communication with the denomination or district regarding these services is consistent with confidentiality laws and requirements, and with CWW’s policies and guidelines.
