Church Planter Assessment Center
Is God calling you to plant a church? Do you desire to be part of a bold new work for His kingdom? Church planting is a challenging, faith-filled adventure that requires a vision and passion within a leader’s heart. But not every leader can become a fruitful church planter. Church planting leaders need a unique set of character qualities, gifts and skills to succeed. How do you know you are suited for this task?
The CWW Assessment Center is an intensive four-day event in which several trained assessors observe and evaluate potential church planters to see if they may be recommended for this kind of ministry. Candidates have the opportunity to preach, cast vision, work in team settings and complete various personality and leadership profiles as part of their evaluation. At the end of the event, the assessors give one of four decisions regarding the candidate:
- Recommended for church planting
- Conditionally recommended
- Recommended with strong conditions
- Not recommended for church planting
Going through the Assessment Center can help confirm or redirect a desire to be involved in planting a church. It is also required of all who will be approved for church planting with CSW. For more information, please contact Darci Johnston at darci@convergesw.org.
