Church Mortgage Reduction Gift

Fred Maloney was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Grover Beach, California before he passed away in 2002. In his Will, he left Converge Southwest a generous gift to reduce the mortgages of our member churches.  The purpose of this gift was to reduce the mortgages of current CSW member churches that had a mortgage balance on December 3, 2002.  The amount of each gift was determined by the pro-rata share of the total amount of all mortgage balances.

Because of Fred’s kindness, many of our churches have made considerable progress in becoming financially strong churches, directly impacting their capacity to minister to their communities.  On behalf of the many churches who received these extraordinary gifts, we offer our deepest gratitude to the Maloney family for your committment to the bride of Christ.
